CARDINALS @ COWBOYS - 8:15 PM
Things aren't going well in Arizona. They've lost 5 football games in a row. They're sitting at 2-5 with their only two wins being against the Saints and Panthers.

The good news is... they're playing Dallas... and they've owned the Cowboys in recent years.

Only two of those games had Kyler Murray at QB... actually Josh Dobbs was playing QB the last time these two teams played.

Doesn't matter though cuz it looks like we're gonna see Jacoby Brissett at quarterback again. There's a chance Kyler could be cleared and play in the game, but I'm pretty sure it's confirmed that Brissett will be starting this game.

I don't think it matters if it's Murray or Brissett... because this Cowboys defense might be the worst thing ever invented. On paper, this is the worst defense in the NFL this season.

Look at their last 5 games.

In addition to being terrible, they're also extremely injured. They basically have no safeties right now. They're smoked at LB as well.

Arizona's offense has injury concerns of their own, but they've been pretty efficient. Coming off the bye week with an extra week to prep, you'd have to think the Cardinals can move the ball in this game.

The question is... can they keep up? Because Dallas looks elite offensively.

Now the Cardinals defense is healthier. Mack Wilson was banged up.. he's good to go. CB Will Johnson missed some time. It looks like he's gonna be back. Darius Robinson missed a game or two. He's not on the injury report.

But it's just tough to see them making stops in this one. First of all, the Cowboys offensive line is finally fully healthy. Cooper Beebe is set to return off the IR.

Arizona hasn't shown much of a pass rush. You're gonna give Dak Prescott clean pockets to throw from... with Ceedee Lamb, George Pickens and Jake Ferguson... against a Cardinals secondary that's thin at corner?

Especially in this building? The Cowboys offense is going nuts in Jerry World this year.

This is also a Cardinals defense that seems to be trending in the wrong direction now that they're seeing tougher competition.

I really don't know how Arizona keeps the Cowboys from scoring 35+ points in this game. Maybe the defense coming off a bye week will have some kind of gameplan. It does kind of remind me of the Josh Dobbs game from 2023.

Dallas has to be the move at -3. As far as the total, you'd think it has to be over right? The only pushback I'd give on that... Arizona's gonna run the ball and do everything they can to slow this game down and limit the possessions. I would imagine the Cardinals path to winning this game is 8-9 minute drives. If they get into a shootout against the Cowboys offense in Jerry World, they're probably not gonna win.
