NCAAB Free Picks Friday 2/18
Free Picks tonight from Toast!
St.John’s -7.5
I think the Red Storm are a much better team. Butler is 7-0 in coinflip games, which means the metrics and shot quality said they should lose and they won, while St. Johns has not had the same luck, yet is still 7-3 against the number last 10 games. They are playing in the small gym on campus. I think we get big games from Posh Alexander and Juilian Champagnie knowing they are on the bubble and need this game to be sure they are dancing.
Nebraska +2
Give me the home dog. Maryland is the better team, yet they are just 2-9 as a favorite against the number, while Nebraska is 9-8 as a dog, not great but better. Eric Ayala is the best or 2nd best player for Maryland and he is banged up. Give me Alonzo Verge and the McGowens brothers to cover tonight at home!
Detroit -1
Looks like NKU is getting all the money which i get. Yo check this out though, Detroit has not lost at home this year. They have played a ton of road games and I think they show up at home. Antoine Davis is the leader for Detroit, and he plays the whole game. Keep in mind Detroit is the 12 most experienced team in the nation, and I think they get the W for us tonight.
Richmond +3
Going to take the points with the Spiders. These teams played a 2 point game earlier in the year, and I think Richmond has only got better since then. VCU is good, especially playing defense, but they don't handle the ball well having the worst Turnover % in the conference. Also Richmond is loaded with experience being 19 in the country in category, while VCU is #234. Big nights for Tyler Burton and Grant Golden!
Marist / Siena over 132.5
Marist has been playing to the over for the last month it seems like, while Siena is 6-3-1 to the over at home. It was 67-60 in January when they played, i expect more tonight. this number is just a little low.
Oakland 1H -2
I love playing Oakland at home, especially when they are playing a team that has beat them earlier in the year like Wright State did this earlier in the year. Also this is the first time Oakland will have back to back home games in almost a month. They are ready and waiting!
