Sunday Night Baseball Free Play June 5th
The Cardinals and Cubs are set to play the final game of a 5 game series in Chicago. All of the games have been exciting, with both teams winning 2 games.
Cardinals sending out the vet Adam Wainwright to the bump. He is 5-4 on the year, but he has looked pretty damn good his last 5 starts. The Brewers got to him, but only gave up 3 runs on 10 hits. He is a guy that I trust, especially in a big spot like on the road, on Sunday night baseball.
Cubs sending out Justin Steele. He has struggled a lot this year. Still a young kid. His last out against the Brewers he gave up 3 runs in 5innings. Yet, the time before that the Reds really had their way with him, didn't make it out of the 2nd after 7 runs. Cards also smashed him last year.
I think this is the type of game the Cardinals have to win if they are thinking about the playoffs. The Cubs have looked good over the last 10 games, but I do not trust Steele yet.
