Kraken saved our night with that big plus money win. Overall, down about a half unit on the night but we will get it back tonight with 5 games on the ice. We are due for a big night soon and I'm hoping the Hokey Gods let that happen tonight. Let's see what's going on around the league and place some bets.

We have a Metro Division clash for our first game of the night, and it should be a good one. These teams are only separated by 2 points in the standings and are fighting for a spot in the postseason. Defensively the advantage goes to the Islanders as they have the better goaltender in this matchup but offensively the edge goes to Pittsburgh. The Pens are on their 4th straight road game and while both of these teams haven't played since Valentines Day, the Islanders have just been able to rest at home since. When New York made that blockbuster trade for Horvat it was clear that they have playoffs on their mind, and I believe tonight they get this win and continue to get closer to that goal.

Minnesota has struggled recently with scoring the puck and that is a big worry in this game. Dallas is one of best teams at keeping opponents away from the net and controlling the pace of the game. The Wil have lost 4 of their last 5 games and have only averaged about 2 goals per game in that span. While their defense continues to play well, their offense just can't find rhythm and that's why ill side with the Stars. They are a very well-rounded team and extremely talented on both ends of the ice.

Very weird coincidence in this game is that the Ducks have given up at least 6 goals in their past 3 games and in the past 6 games for the Kings, there has been at least 6 goals scored. These teams are on opposite sies of the standings as LA is most likely heading towards the postseason and the Ducks are thinking about getting 1st overall pick. I just think a ton of goals are bound to happen in this contest so I'm siding with the over.

This game will be crazy exciting for multiple reasons. Both teams have elite offenses, and a ton of playmakers will be on the ice at the same time. Im going to side with the Rangers simply because they play better defense. The Oilers have an explosive offense, but they live and die by it. If New York can control that, then they will get this road win. The goalie matchup is also favored for the Rangers as Shesterkin should be in net for New York. No matter what happens in this game it's going to be very entertaining.
