Two more games for Tuesday night.
PACERS @ CAVALIERS GAME 2
Well we all saw what happened in game 1... the Cavs offense, who was dominant as hell in the 1st round, didn't look all that dominant.
Specifically... it was the 3PT shooting that just disappeared for the Cavs. They went from scorching hot... can't possibly miss... to ice cold from 3. Now, it wouldn't be surprising for the 3PT shooting to take a dip in this series. The Pacers have been a strong perimeter defense all season. But 23.7%?? You'd have to think they take a step forward from this.
We should see a major swing in that department... cuz not only could the Cavs not buy a 3PT shot... but Indiana was shooting the lights out. That's what makes this game so strange... Cleveland won the turnover battle... they outscored the Pacers 70-38 in the paint. Rebounding battle was even. I mean... Cleveland outplayed the Pacers in game 1. The only difference is one team shot the lights out and one team didn't.
So I expect to see the 3PT shooting completely even out which obviously swings the game heavily towards Cleveland. The problem is this line is at 9... I have it around 9.5. So I'm slightly leaning towards the Cleveland side and slightly leaning towards the under. So why haven't I placed a bet? Well look at this.
If everyone plays... I'd consider Cavs -9 or Pacers TT u110.5... but I'm not placing a bet until I know for sure.
WARRIORS @ TIMBERWOLVES GAME 1
I gotta say... kinda confused what to do with this one. Obviously, we know the trends... you fade the team coming off game 7 with limited rest. But even if I adjust the handicap 4 whole points for the rest situation, I still have this one at 5.
Not to mention, Golden State has had zero problems with Minnesota this season. They took a loss back on December 6th... since then, they've seen the Timberwolves 3 times and they've won all 3. Draymond Green didn't even play in 2 of those games.
