Free Boxing Picks Tonight August 14
No UFC tonight... so my wifey is upset... good news... we have THREE boxing cards tonight... with several title fights. Here's what I'm betting.
JOSHUA GREER JR. +450
Rewind 13 months and this dude was on a fast track to fight Inoue to be the top guy in the Bantamweight division... Greer took a majority decision loss to current #10 ranked bantamweight Mike Plania... and it musta shook him. Cuz he followed that up with a REALLY disappointing draw in November against Edwin Rodriguez... I don't even know who that is... that's how bad the draw it.
In my opinion... Greer has ONE shot to get his career back on track... and that shot is tonight against Jason Maloney. At +450... I'm willing to take the shot.
GARY ANTONIO RUSSELL

Andrew Maloney's loss to Franco last June was a fluke... and questionable judging. He's the better fighter and he's boxing with a chip on his shoulder.
This will be Emmanuel Rodriguez's last day in the top 10 Bantamweight rankings... cuz Gary Antonio Russell is a SAVAGE. I like this parlay.
ARNOLD BARBOZA JR.

This is probably my least favorite bet on this sheet. Not just cuz it's a weak -160 payout... but because I could also see Barboza scoring himself a knockout here.
The reason I ended up going with a decision... is Antonio Moran has got some serious fights under his belt now... he's fought Devin Haney... he's fought Jose Pedraza... I think he's well classed enough to take it the distance.
