JUNE 24TH

LAC @ PHX GAME 2

PHX -1.5

Chris Paul is back... but that's not the only reason I'm taking Phoenix here. In my opinion... the Suns have showed us a more complete offensive attack. Both teams are playing elite on the defensive end... I don't doubt either team on defense... but as far as offense goes... there's more ball movement with Phoenix... there's more creativity with Phoenix... The Suns just have more ways to score. Now add Chris Paul back into the mix? I have to play Phoenix and I believe the Clips are in a situation where Kawhi Leonard needs to come back or it's a wrap.

PROPS

We hit on Jae Crowder U2.5 3PT in Game 2... we're jumping ship back to the other side. I'm gonna bet Crowder O2.5 3PT at +125. I'm also gonna jump on Chris Paul U8.5 AST at +100. Games 3 and 4 of the Denver series we saw CP3 getting to play off the ball a little... I think they'll stick to that with Cam Payne playing at such a high level. Also... who knows how many minutes Paul will even play?

TOTAL

I am gonna play the over here but I'm not crazy about it. It will definitely be a half unit bet. Super low scoring game 2... which means both coaches are gonna focus on offensive adjustments.

LET'S HAVE A BIG THURSDAY** HAHA

ATHLETICS -1.5 +170
ATHLETICS F5 -0.5 -105

SAUCE SAYS...

Oakland... you got today to make it up to me... the bullsh*t that you pulled last night and in game 1 of this series. Oakland hasn't been hitting lefties particularly well... but no way I'm gonna put my money on Texas to take this series 3-1 from Oakland... we're talking about one of the best teams in the MLB against possibly the worst.

TOAST SAYS...

I am taking Oakland 5 ways. They are they better team. They have theIr ace on the mound in Bassitt. Kolby Allard (2-2, 2.93). He is 0-2 with an 11.37 ERA in two career starts vs. Oakland and both were at Globe Life Field. The Rangers are 0-5 in their past five after a win. SDQL says this.
The Rangers are 0-20 as an underdog of +110 or better when they lost by one run in their starter's last start and it is before the All-Star break. Texas has lost these 10 games by an average of 3.83 runs. The Athletics, on the other hand, are a reliable 14-0 behind Chris Bassitt as a -140 or steeper favorite when they scored first in his last start.

BAL/TOR UNDER 10.5
F5 UNDER 5.5

SAUCE SAYS...

Remember when the Orioles were absolutely smoking left handed pitching? yeah those days are gone... that was last month... they're back to being abysmal again. Combine that with the fact that Baltimore's got Dean Kremer pitching who held Toronto to 3 hits over 6 innings his last start. I'll take the under both ways.

TOAST SAYS...

This number is just too high for me. Neither team has been hitting the ball great. Toronto has had a few outbursts but not lately. Baltimore has 3 runs in last 3 games.

RED SOX ML +102
F5 ML -106
/ OVER 9

SAUCE SAYS...

This almost seems too easy. Pivetta is coming off 2 of the worst starts of the season... which in my opinion is a perfect spot for a bounceback solid outing. Also... He's pitching against Michael Wacha! The Red Sox have been GREAT on the road all year... and Tampa's been beatable at home. I'll take Boston ML and F5 ML. The over is Toast's pick but I agree with his research.

TOAST SAYS...

This is a combo of me really liking the Red Sox at + money and getting to fade Wacha.  I think we are going to see runs in this game and I think Boston gets to Wacha, who will give the Red Sox a chance to get nasty with the shaky Rays pen.

NATIONALS ML -115
F5 ML -124

SAUCE SAYS...

I like Joe Ross personally... I know Toast doesn't... but even if you're not a fan of Joe Ross... you have to admit that Washington has the clear pitching advantage with Cody Peteet on the mound for Miami.

TOAST SAYS...

Washington has won 9 of 10. They are crushing the ball right now. Maimi never crushes the ball. The more I look at it the more I don't understand this line. I think we have the pitching advantage as well.

SAUCE'S EXTRAS

ROYALS F5 ML +135

I'm only gonna play the first 5 innings in this simply cuz I think Brad Keller is better than Jameson Taillon... so I think this can hit at +135... I wouldn't take em in the full game cuz the Yanks will most likely win and take the series.. I don't trust Kansas City's bullpen.

PIRATES F5 +145
PIRATES ML +135

UNDER 9 / F5 U4.5

hear me out.... THE CARDINALS CAN'T HIT. In the past 30 days they are 29TH IN THE MLB against right handed pitching. The Pirates on the other hand... they're hitting. Carlos Martinez has been horrible... but it is the Pirates. I like the Pirates with a 4-2 victory here. I'm betting Pittsburgh 2 ways and the under 2 ways.

LAD/CHC UNDER 8.5
F5 UNDER 4.5

DODGERS -1.5 -124

Walker Buehler is a beast on the mound for the Dodgers... Zach Davies is having a great year... coming off a bad start... I think both pitchers show up and the under is a good play... also... the Cubs can't hit for sh*t.
